Tau Beta Sigma for greater bands

Service Projects

Here are service projects we do throughout the year for the band:

-Yearly uniform fittings during Hell Week

-River bags donated by the bookstore

-”Pop Ice” for the band during Hell Week

-30 minutes before every marching rehearsal, we go, with the aid of KKΨ to help set up the field and tear down afterwards

-We take care of plumes at football games and exhibitions

-We also take a first aid kit and any extra uniform parts for the band

-Both us and KKΨ help get and pass out water for any event

-We collect coke tabs to support cancer research

-We hold a “Service Rush” where we fixed and tighten the stands in the band hall.

-Women in Music on our bulletin board in the band hall.

The Eta Epsilon chapter of Tau Beta Sigma is a student organization of the Texas State University

School of Music.
