Community service is a major concern of Sigma Delta Lambda. We pride ourselves on helping the community around us, therefore dedicating hours of hard work. We have been recognized by the State of Texas, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Texas State University– San Marcos for our contributions.

Our Philanthropy is at-risk youth, therefore our sorority’s focus lies primarily in promoting higher education targeted toward the youth of San Marcos and its surrounding areas.

One semester, Sigma Delta Lambda contributed over 975 hours of community service!
