La Feria de San Marcos is a national ballet folklorico competition, showcase, and workshop series. All non-professional groups are eligible to participate, and all are welcomed to join in as spectators. It is held during month of April on the beautiful Texas State University campus in the University Performing Arts Center and the LBJ Student Center. Folklorico dancers will have the opportunity to be critiqued by masters of the art, learn directly from these maestros, network, build friendships, perform, purchase hard to find folklorico music and equipment, socialize, and so much more.
