Joining the Exercise and Sports Science Club is a great way to
network with your peers as well as professionals within the ESS field. I decided
to run for office in the ESS club to take a more pro-active approach in
advancing my career as well as helping others realize all the possibilities that
are available to them.
I am an Exercise and Sports Science major, with a
minor in Business Administration. I was a Health and Sports Science
major at the University of Oklahoma (OU) for 2 years before
transferring to Texas State. San Marcos has been a good change of
pace for me and offers a great atmosphere to do the things I love;
staying active, being outside, and playing sports of all kinds.
After
graduating, I plan on staying at Texas State to work on a Master's
degree and then pursuing a job as a Strength and Conditioning Coach
at the collegiate or professional level. |
