The ESS Club committees are run by Club
Members and were implemented by the 2008 - 2009 Club Executive Board with
the purpose of providing more ownership of the ESS Club to active
members. In the past, the
responsibilities of these committees were administrated by Club
Officers and any members that wanted to take them on.
Examining this precedent lead to the idea of creating Club
committees.
The concept is a simple one:
Give ESS Club Members the opportunity to have more control, and they
will be more involved.
