Dear Visitor,
We wish to thank you for your interest in one of the largest National
Co-Ed Service Fraternities in the United States. The purpose of this
Fraternity shall be to assemble college students in a National Service
Fraternity in the fellowship of principles derived from the Scout
Oath and Law of the Boy Scouts of America; to develop Leadership,
to promote Friendship and to provide Service to humanity; and to further
the freedom that is our national, educational and intellectual heritage.
This does not mean you have to have been a scout in your youth; it
is simply what our organization was originally designed after. It
is our belief that serving one's community is an honor provided to
all and grasped by the dedicated few. The Nu Gamma Chapter of Alpha
Phi Omega was the first Organization allowed on Texas State campus
in 1960. Our chapter remains true to these principles and welcomes
all who wish to provide Leadership, Friendship and Service to our
Campus, Community, and Nation at large.
If you enjoy hanging out with friends, working in your community
with dedicated men and women, and having a good time all the time,
Alpha Phi Omega is your organization.
In Leadership, Friendship and Service,
The Brothers of Alpha Phi Omega
